Running OBS with Snapdragon X and Qualcomm Adreno x1

I am starting a YouTube channel that I will react to music videos using my Surface Pro(Snapdragon X and Qualcomm Adreno x1). I will be feeding my video from a Canon 800D, at 1080p, audio from a dedicate XLR Mic, and video from the same pc that is running OBS from Youtube. Looking to see if I am going to have problems with this setup as I have a lot of equipment to buy and hope that I can use my Surface Pro.

Will I run into problems running this setup?
Does a Video capture card inline from the camera help?
Will I need to optimize any settings or throttle video feed quality?

Here are the specs:

Snapdragon X 10-core X1P64100 @3.4 Ghz
Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 GPU (128MB)
16 GB Ram

Thank you!

Looking at the benchmarks for both of them, I'd say you probably have a better chance of hitting the lotto. That Surface isn't bringing much heat to the party & will probably overheat as well when put to the fire. All you can do is test.

It's not much but see

I don't know exactly how the Canon EOS Webcam Utility works but if it's an app/service that has to run, a capture card *should* use less resources because it's just drivers.

Tools > Auto-Configuration Wizard. Once it's done, don't change anything, restart OBS and hope for the best.

So stupid comment.. I stream on Twitch with exactly the same setup, with Reaper (I do Music on Twitch). I have no issues...
If you don't know, don't shit talking...

I use a surface snapdragon with a canon eos R8. EOS Utility is a crapware. Your camera can certainly be used directly as an USB webcam (as mine).
My setup runs fine..

That may be so but it's a weak set-up no matter what you say.....
It's an equivalent of a M2 CPU. I do Reaper, Da Vinci Resolve, OBS. It's a lot faster than my previous notebook (core I 7 from 2020). I can even run games like Civ VI with wide resolution.. in silence. It's not a gaming PC but not a weak machine.
