Question / Help Running OBS Slows down my game significantly

I am currently a new and small Minecraft and Gaming Youtuber who streams often using OBS Studio. I find that whenever I open OBS my game changes from an FPS of 50-140, to anything between 15 and 35. Now I'm not sure if this is normal for running OBS but surely just running the application and NOT even streaming should have such a large impact on the game?
I would like some advice on how I could improve this problem as I cant imagine that going from 140 FPS to 15 FPS is normal for running this program. These suggestions could include changing software settings, or buying new hardware like upgraded RAM. I use three monitors and the one the game is on is 2560 x 1440 resolution. I'm not too good with computer Hardware and specs because its a custom PC however is you believe this is the limiting factor I may be able to find out more. I attached an OBS log as I believe it tells you something? As you can tell I'm not the best with OBS and I would be very thankful if someone could help me out!
Thanks, ShadowScyther

Your dual core system isn't well suited to running a game at 1440p and streaming it at 720p. On top of that you aren't using any sort of FPS limiter so Minecraft is free to render as many frames as possible, leaving OBS without enough system resources to run well. Turn on vsync or set the FPS limit in Minecraft to 60, downscale to something a bit lower like 540p, and test. If performance is still poor post an updated log that contains one of the streaming/recording attempts using the new settings.

Step 1> Update
Step 2> If you have avast installed, either disable its gaming mode or uninstall it.
