I am new to OBS and just trying to gain information to run what I am trying to do at an optimum level. Im running the software on a MacBook pro with a i5 2.7 processor. I have a Zoom Q8 camera that I am using as a webcam connected via USB. The purpose of the setup is to run live Facebook for a church service. The camera is in a fixed position and connected with a 50 ft USB active repeater extension cable. The camera is basically a 4 track recorder with stereo Xy mics and to XLR/TRS inputs. I am using the Mics on the camera as well as one input coming off the mixing console. I have had to adjust the mic delay in the mixer setting of OBS as the video and audio were out of sync. The problem seems to be that as the service goes on it continuously fall out of sync. The camera I'm using is shoots in 1080p but thats not the quality I'm getting using it as a webcam with OBS but that my be unavoidable. Im using the following settings.

video bitrate: 2500
audio bitrate: 128
encoder preset: veryfast
output (scaled) resolution: 720
fps: 30

Any tips to help run this in the best manner would be helpful!
I have also been told that running the camera to the computer via ethernet by way of usb to ethernet converter may be better. I don't know if ethernet will carry the video feed as well as the audio feed so any information on that would be great as well!
Thanks!
