Question / Help Run OBS without a GPU?

Hello.

I set up a server yesterday and was hoping that I could use OBS on it.
It kept segfaulting and I finally understood that it was because of the lack of GPU.
Could it be possible to use OBS without a GPU, maybe by emulating a GPU with the CPU?
If so, how could I do it?

Sounds more like you are wanting a custom RMTP server. https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-set-up-your-own-private-rtmp-server-using-nginx.50/

Then use some of the nginx RTMP directives to PUSH either a VOD listing or LIVE listing to twitch: https://github.com/arut/nginx-rtmp-module/wiki/Directives#relay

You can then use something like cvlc to send videos in a playlist to a PULL (or LIVE) directive, and have that mirror to other services.
