Question / Help RTX 2060 or GTX 1070Ti

Hello!
So, I'm about to buy my new VGA card, and I wanna know which of these are the best for live streaming in 1080p/60fps.
I'm only gonna play in 1080p for the next few years, and I'm going to stream and play in the same computer.
I want a VGA that can hold most games on 1080p/60fps on High, or Ultra, and be abble to stream in 1080p60fps too, with NVENC.
4K is out of the table for me, FYI.

I did read that the RTX have a better performance for one-PC streamers, since nvidia worked with OBS developers, but is really a big deal?
Can a 1070Ti hold the future games for the next 3, 4 years, since that's my plan to stay with the card?
Or do you guys think it's better go for RTX?

Consider that in this case of my, the 1070Ti is about 25% cheapper, and I will save some money with it, but I'm willing to pay for the RTX too.
Thank you.

Gaming performance difference between those chips is within single digit % but the NVENC encoder is better on the RTX 2060.

So it really boils down to slightly more efficient encoder vs price and that's a personal choice.

As for future proofing, don't bother going down that rabbit hole. There's no way to predict how far technology will have advanced by then.

Do you think this NVENC difference could impact in future games in benefit for the RTX, since it has less impact on Turing cards?

Not in any way I'd consider significant.

However, it does free up CPU resources since this GPU's encoding quality is close to "fast" CPU preset, which is already superior to the default settings most people use for CPU encoding.

But with the 1070Ti I intend to use NVENC as well. Still would help the CPU?
I have an i7 6700, so, for multitasking, he is fine by now. Most of the games doesn't go above 50% usage.

The 1070TI encoder is similar/very slightly inferior to x264 CPU encoding, which is why people recommend using the latter when people ask how to improve the quality of their streams, by using a slower CPU preset.

The RTX 20x0 series no longer has this restriction, you get the image quality of a slower CPU preset combined with the lower performance hit of hardware encoding.

For gaming purposes, either card would be fine. For streaming purposes, I'd go with the RTX 2060 unless money is a concern.

So, I think I'll go for RTX 2060 then. Brand new, new technology, three years warranty.
The 1070Ti is 25% cheapper, but is used, and in the future may be hard to resale it, since I would already buy it with 2 years used.
