RTSS / Afterburner

I'm curious, these programs are listed as known conflicts but as overlays.
I use RTSS to limit fps and show stats (temp, fps, speeds) on my Logitech G510s keyboards little LCD screen, no overlays whatsoever.
Will there still be issues, or is it only when trying to display an on-screen overlay?

This is not known. As far as I know, the issue comes from the fact that other software is hooking into directx at the same place as OBS does, but in a way that conflicts with OBS. I would say displaying an overlay is more intruding than just counting fps, but you never know how exactly this hooking is made, and since there is no standard Windows API for some of the required operations, there is never a guarantee that it will work without conflicts if more than one app is using such a hook, regardless of how "small" that hook is.
