Question / Help RTP Stream Input

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to use OBS with an IP device sending a RTP stream (Lenkeng LKV373A)
VLC standalone reads the stream without any problem at the adress rtp://@239.255.42.42:5004 however i can't get it working in OBS via VLC source or video source.
There must me something i'm doing wrong

Has anyone already succeed this ?

OBS primarily uses RTMP, not RTP, which aren't the same thing: http://www.garymcgath.com/streamingprotocols.html

Maybe via VLC it would support it as input, but I've never read any threads of anyone using a RTP source. Have you found any examples of OBS using an RTP input?

I also found a thread talking about udp input using ffmpeg arguments in media source but i cant find it anymore...

From what i read so far they stream from obs to vlc...
It looks like vlc supports it but i couldn t get the image via ffmpeg cmds

I may have made a step forward since obs showed me a stereo audio source from a media source input
