Question / Help RTMP Source as an Input Problems

Hello..

I'm running a video stream from a Data Center Server in a separate place. The server was built with wowza and have a custom video playlist support software (cloud playlist). All of my video files was uploaded to the server, and afterward, the server will playback my files through RTMP and HLS by the playlist.

These are the outputs :
rtmp://stream.asianastream.com/live/madanitv
http://stream.asianastream.com:1935/live/ngrp:madanitv_all/playlist.m3u8

Inside the OBS, I'd tried using media source and vlc plugin as the rtmp input. However I'm facing a few problems :
1. RTMP Input Freeze and not playing anymore
2. Audio slowly not sync with the video.
3. Green Video, this is weird actually.

Actually, this problem occured on all streaming software, OBS, Wirecast, vMix.

But recently, I'd found that OBS did better than the other software. I really love OBS fast performance and stability.

The server tehnician said, "OBS, Wirecast, vMix must have a stream buffer like jwplayer to render the RTMP correctly". I don't quite understand with his statement though. However, one think i know for sure is, jwplayer on the website did a good job delivering and playback the RTMP source. madanitv.net/live

My Question, could you help me solved my problem? so i can run the rtmp input smoothly? Maybe there is an input setting or something like a format delay/buffer or anything to fix this.

PS :
- Using jwplayer from web seemed running perfectly even after 24hrs running non stop.
- Using vlc media to pull the RTMP request, still facing a media freeze some time.

Note :
- The TV is a non-profit organization.

I really appreaciate your help, Thanks!

Hi,
probably Wowza end stream after end file, jwplayer resume play after new file start.
OBS does resume playback, must manual click on source properties.
Maybe in the future 'auto reconnect' will appear for media source.

The freezing seems to be the result of dropped frames, when the video freezes the audio continues so the server is probably experiencing congestion somewhere and dropping video frames.
