Hi, I'm trying to send RTMP media sources to my MacBookPro 2017 2.9 GHz i7 laptop running Mojave 10.14.6. They are arriving to the machine over local Wi-Fi.
I'm using Wowza to receive the RTMP feeds into the laptop and serve them to obs over 127.0.0.1:1935. There are two problems.
1) The sources are connected to Wowza and available to obs, but I have to double click on each source to open the properties dialogue and hit OK before they will show up in preview. Occasionally, they will disconnect as well and I have to repeat the procedure to get them live again. WHen they disconnect there is a frozen fram remaining in the preview. I can't run a live stream this way.
2) The load average on the mac goes into the 40's at times, so obs is unable to render at 30 fps for a single scene with a composite of all the sources (6 at the moment)

The sources are sending at variable bitrate but average around 2Mbps.
The source properties are:
Network buffering: 1MB
Reconnect Delay 4s
Restart playback when source becomes active is checked
Show nothing when playback ends is not checked
Close file when inactive is not checked
YUV color is Full

I have the Output settings as follows:
Encoder x264
Rate control CF
CRF 27
Keyframe 2
CPU Usage veryfast

Video settings
Base canvas 3840x2160 (UHD)
Output resolution: 3840x2160
Downscale Bicubic
Common FPS 30
