Question / Help RTMP Input to OBS Studio

I use RTMP media source in OBS-Studio

Lately, after streaming for a few hours I start to get audio sync issues on the RTMP feed.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows if I can FORCE ffmpeg in OBS-Studio to resync using ffmpeg commands. I found that turning the source off, and back on, will correct the problem most times, which suggests it just needs a force resync somehow. Because OBS-Studio is so new, I figured you may have tested something like this, and may have insight to this problem. Also, my recordings from nginx-rtmp are in sync, so I know the feed to OBS-Studio is OK.

Also, not sure if this may fix it, but do you know where I can find optimal settings for the OBS-Studio "Media source". There is no reference for setting "audio buffer size", or "frame dropping level". Those are very interesting settings for me, and I would like to see how I can maximize them.

Is there a reference for the more advanced settings in the "Media Source" and if not, I would be happy to make one if I can gather info from the devs.

Thanks guys!!!
I love OBS and the community, I want to use my knowledge to make OBS even better!

I see some interesting buffering patterns, do you think the audio or video buffers are getting too full? I can provide more info, let me know if you know what the data means (or if you know a possible solution workaround).

Hey, have you figured out the issue? I'm currently going through the same problem where the audio ends up desyncing through the stream. Sometimes it also gets to the point where it completely cuts out.
