i have bought a Rode Lavalier Go some weeks ago and wanted to test it today. I have plugged it into my Mainboard Mic In and added in OBS Windows a new Audio Input Device. I have selected "Microphone (High Definition Audio Device)".
Under the Windows Microphone Settings the Volume is set to 96 (out of 100). When i now record the scene with the Rode Lavalier Go, the sound is extremely quite! I have added Gain to it of + 20, but then the quality is noisy. I have normally set my Windows Volume to 15 when i listen to Online radios and this is quite pleasant. But at Volume 15 i cannot here myself in the recording. When i set Volume in Windows to > 70 then its loud enough to understand everything.
Whats wrong with my setup. Can someone help me?
