Roblox does not display/black screen on Game Capture

I'll say from the get-go, I have gone through the troubleshooting on this forum for the black screen problem. The issue I have is that Roblox is installed deep within AppData (from my research) and I can't go to Graphic Settings to choose it to run on High-Performance. If that's even the issue.

I'm setting this up for my kids. The first laptop worked without issue. Minecraft, Fortnite, Roblox all set up without any problem. This second laptop, I fought issues with everything not displaying for Game Capture. After choosing High Performance for OBS, I got Minecraft working. But Roblox still won't work.

Any suggestions for my current issue? I've started/restarted OBS, restarted computer, removed and added Game Captures, all to no avail.

Are you using the old GPU selection method, via the nVidia control panel, or the new method, through Windows itself? The method for selecting the GPU to use was changed by Microsoft in Win10 1903 onward. Here's instructions how, in case you were using the old 'control panel' method before:

Thanks for the response. That is how I'm currently setting the GPU, which is an Intel by the way.

I've had a bit of a breakthrough but not a permanent solution. Alternating between restarting OBS, Roblox, and the computer, I will sometimes get it to work. My daughter will record her things, then it'll stop working. Cue restarting things in a random order and it'll start working again.

Like it'll be a black screen in OBS after all of the restarts and changes, then flicker and show Roblox and work. Then after a few hours, it won't work. Super frustrating.

If you can, the next time it doesn't work, start recording, wait 30 seconds, then stop recording. Then without closing OBS, go to the Help menu, Log Files, Upload Current Log File. Paste the URL it gives you here. It'll just have recorded a black screen, but the logfile will be very useful in troubleshooting this further and let us see what issues may be happening on the back end.
