I have an Intel Core i5 4th Gen processor at 3.3Ghz, 8GB RAM and Intel HD graphics. When I first started using my Razer Ripsaw and OBS it was working fine, the video from the Ripsaw into OBS was perfect but the CPU was being pushed to the max (around 90% CPU usage) which meant streaming to Facebook was difficult unless quality was dropped significantly. I did some looking and it appeared that my Intel Graphics Drivers were not up to date, but since downloading the updates, my CPU usage is now between 10-20% for OBS which is brilliant, but the gameplay footage in OBS freezes randomly....sometimes after a few seconds of loading up the program and sometimes after a minute or so.
I can't work out what has now caused this issue, it was working before perfectly when the CPU was doing everything, but obviously meant I couldn't stream anything without dropping the quality right down
I appreciate any help you can give me
