Question / Help Retroactive recording?

Can obs studio do "retroactive recording" on a hotkey. like shadowplay?

a recording buffer? their was one in the original and i believe it's planned to make a comeback, keep in mind this would need to be applied multi-platform, not just windows, and it was quite finicky with the first release in the original, so it may be quite a trick
