Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.
Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date
I get this message when I start OBS but not all the time. If i reboot then run obs it works and works for a few times after that. About the 4th or 5th time I start OBS i get that message. Then I reboot and its fine.
OBS has worked great until this last update when this started happening. My drivers are up to date just checked them before making this post.
Very last entry on the log
error: OpenEncodeSessionEx failed: out of memory (10)
fatal: No NVENC capable devices found
[NVENC encoder: 'recording_h264'] Failed to open NVENC codec: Generic error in an external library
For some reason it doesn't recognize the card anymore but if i reboot it does and see's it a few times like i said. Unsure how to fix this. Really don't want to reboot every time i need to record. BTW i searched the web and I am not the only one posting on this issue.
Would rolling back the drivers help since I didn't have this issue before?
Ohh and I have been using the same exact settings for months with no issues. Only thing that changed was the version of OBS
I removed the log since its fixed now
