Question / Help RESOLVED: Starting of Output Failed.

Hi, UPDATE: I resolved the issue by trying a 2nd time to install the NVIDIA driver. The 2nd time it worked.

I get an error "Starting Of Output Failed" when I try to record with OBS Studio. It says "If you are using the NVENC and AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

I just downloaded OBS Studio. I do not know if I am using these encoders. I did go to the video software site and I downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver for my video card. It failed on the install. It also told me I needed the latest Java which I installed than I ran it again and it told me the same thing again (no luck here). This is on my Win 7 64 bit desktop. So I decided to try installing on my Win 10 notebook which is only 1.5 years old. I get exactly the same error "Starting Of Output Failed". Any thoughts?

Thanks,
John

I have downloaded iSpring Free for now. It is not having any problems creating a wmv screen recording file on Win 7 64 bit.

I am currently reading this page from Bandicam regarding the nvidia GeForce GTX 660 video card I have.
https://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/nvidia-nvenc/

I was reading about the different video file formats. I tried FLV which I gather is the youtube format. I got the same error. Here is the log file.
