Resolution settings changed and still problem

My Microsoft Surface resolution is 2736 x 1824
At first OBS was only video recording the top left of 75% of the screen. So I changed OBS setting Base (Canvas) Resolution to 2736x1824 and the Output (Scaled) Resolution to 2052x1368, and now the whole screen is captured by it is very small. There are big black bars under and to the right of the full screen capture. Very hard to read text from the recorded video from the screen capture video.

What should I set my resolution on my Surface and want should I set the resolution in OBS for both settings to see the whole screen recorded AND bigger in recorded video?

I figured it out on my own. My adjusting the Base resolution (black square) and the Output resolution (red square), so the red fits inside the black without any horizontal lines and no black bars. Also don't need to change the display resolution on the Surface. Wish someone told me all this before wasting a few hours today.
