Question / Help Resolution question

I have some problems with lag on my streams, like my viewers are getting lag when watching my stream. I read dropped lag section.. And it was like change resolution, it will help. Im playing strechted CSGO 1280x1024.. and if i switch on OBS from 1980x1280 to like 1280x1024, will it be black bars and how to stream in lower resolution without black bars?

you can set your base resolution to anything by typing it into the box... even if its not in the drop down.

that resolution 1280x1024 is 5:4 as long as you set the output resolution to a variant of 5:4 you wont get black bars.

You'll still get black bars on the YouTube side, as they expect a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The fix is to stop playing in stretched mode.
