Ok, so I'm new to the whole 1 gaming pc and one streaming pc setup. I'm using an Elgato HD60 Pro in the streaming PC to capture video from my gaming computer. My gaming computer has a resolution of 2560x1440 at 165hz refresh rate. My streaming computer has a resolution of 1920x1080 at 60hz refresh rate. I have the display duplicated on my gaming computer at the 1440 resolution to the Elgato card. However, when I play a game my resolution in game gets dropped from 1440 to 1080. Is this related to the capture card not being 4k capable or is the monitor on the streaming pc the issue?

Another thing I'm having a hard time with is getting the game audio and mic input to go from the gaming computer to the streaming computer. Any input on that would be greatly appreciated!

You need to use voicemeteer banana for AUDIO between both PC's, (mic and audio) if you don't want to spend heaps on a mixer and cables, there are plenty of guides online, and yes the hd60pro can only do 1080p max, so you cannot see 1440p out of it, it will downscale automatically to 1080p
