Question / Help Resolution Degradation?

So I game at 4k and have a base canvas of 1440p and then stream to 1080p60. Is this ok and will I lose any quality?

BUMP please i need help immediately, is this ok? and what happens if i game at 1080 and stream at 1080, but have a canvas of 1440?

Set the base canvas to 4k(3840x2160) and the output to 1080p or whatever you want to stream at.
