Question / Help Resolution-Aspect Ratio, Black Bars

My monitor is 1440x900, I believe 16:10 and I was trying to record a game-play but then I figured out that I had black bars while I was editing the video in Sony Vegas, I don't really want to scratch the video, it will look bad and I tried it in Sony Vegas, ignoring the aspect ratio but it looks like it lost quality, really bad, any tips to remove this black bars without scratching or loosing quality? I'm trying to record for 720p.

My OBS Settings:

Base Resolution: 1440x900
Output Resolution: 1152x720
Downscale Filter: Bicubic, 16 samples
FPS: 60
