Resizing camera size during a broadcast?

Hi, I use OBS for teaching, and sometimes I need to do a slide presentation on screen. However, I still need my face visible. Therefore, I was wondering if there was a way to resize my camera so it appears as a thumbnail over the top of the presentation?

Right now I don't have presentations in full screen, but only occupying part of the screen, and I have to move my camera over so part of my face is visible.

Because I have a dedicated logitech webcam and my laptop webcam, I did try and see if there was a way of switiching betwen the two cameras, but as soon as I do this the other cam freezes. If there's a fix for this, that could also be a solution.

I appreciate any answers or advice. Thanks.

You can resize a source, such as the camera, by clicking on the source and then clicking and dragging any of red squares in the boundary box. Make that source is not locked.
If you want to crop the source, hold Alt while clicking and dragging any of red squares in the boundary box.

A picture-picture effect is very doable
1. using multiple monitors makes this SOOOOO much easier... strongly recommended/advised
2. Make presentation full screen with OBS Studio [again, 2 monitors makes this easy]
another option, with quality video end-result, is if you plan to stream/record at 1080p, but have a higher resolution monitor. In which case, you possibly can do a Windowed Slide show (PowerPoint has such) in 1080 frame sizing (so no re-scaling)
3. Within OBS Studio, Add the Window (or Display) for the slide show as a Source
4. Then ABOVE (in priority order) the slide show source, add you camera source... now camera view will appear on TOP of slideshow (picture in picture). Resize and position camera view as desired
there is a guide here, but if you prefer reading and need more details, these free eBooks may help https://streamgeeks.us/ Online Resources
