It kills me that I can't do this. I don't want to just be able to save a clip of a predetermined length and not be able to add onto it without doing some janky nonsense involving recording before I save the replay and then perfectly splicing the two clips together or something like that. Or I'd have to either set the buffer length to something way longer than I'd like, or abandon the replay buffer entirely and just record everything constantly and those are both huge wastes.
It sucks because this is the most important feature for me in classic and it's missing in studio, and the features that are most important to me in studio (noise suppression filter for example) aren't present in classic. I either record how I want but with a constant background noise, or I get rid of the background noise but force myself to jump through some really annoying hoops.
I've been trying to figure out if there's a way to put obs studio's filters into obs classic but I haven't had any luck...if anyone knows how to get obs studio's compressor and noise suppression (suppression, NOT gate) to work in obs classic, please let me know. The noise suppression is really wonderful and I haven't been able to find any substitute.
