I'm trying a new 4K setup and I kept running into INSANE framerate problems in Windows 7 with a GTX 1060.
FINALLY after most of the day trying everything under the sun (thinking it was driver or monitor setup issue), I realized it was coming from OBS.
The simple problem that caused my >30 FPS to go down to ~5 FPS?
My [Game Capture] plugin was set to multi-adapter compatibility. I don't know if that was on by default, or somehow got clicked by accident.
But, AS IT IS, with no caption at all, it implies there's no harm or warnings or danger in using it.
If I were you guys, I'd even put a WARNING text next to the button in red that says "Don't use unless necessary." or "Reduces performance."
Thank you.
