Replay Buffer question or capturing clips while you're live

I am confused about replay buffer. Does it capture the previous moments of a video, like twitch clips would or does it only capture a moment when you enable and disable it. I want to be able to capture things that have already happened after the fact, because you can't capture something that MIGHT happen. I'm looking for an alternative I can use that functions like twitch clips the captures a previous moment as I stream so that I won't have to go back through my entire stream video to find clip worthy moments, I can do them on the fly. I don't seem to be able to find something that works efficiently or easily.

Replay Buffer must be running in order to actually be usefull. It captures constantly the last x amount of seconds and don't use more than x amount of MB you set to.
Once you click on to save the Replay Buffer (Hotkey adviced) it do save this short video on the folder you specified.

It takes some time to get use to but in a few days you get it. So, practice.
