Replay buffer overwritten corrupted file?

Hi all,

I'm looking to stream a live football (soccer) game. One of the things I'd like to show is an INSTANT replay for goals or shots or anything exciting happening.

I tried using the replay buffer and then overwriting the file so I can do it instantly without going into my instant replay scene, showing viewers that and then select a file to use, but every time I watch the "overwritten" replay file (within a few seconds or even a minute), at least the first few seconds are corrupted (glitchy video, green screen) and then it works fine. Everything has to be very quick and instant as it's a live stream.

Are there any specific configurations I should do to avoid this? Is this a bug? am I doing something wrong in the process?

Thanks in advance and appreciate the help.

We would need to see a logfile from a streaming or recording session where this issue occurred to be able to troubleshoot properly.

First random-guess thing to mind, make sure your recording settings are set to FLV or MKV, and NEVER mp4, mov, or ts.

Unfortunately I think its just how long it takes to save down the replay buffer. I do the same thing, and I have timed it as 2.8 secs on my system, so I am giving it 3s and then switching to the replay scene and its working ...
