Hello,
I've been using OBS for a couple years on and off for streaming, but since my Internet just doesnt allow for it without insane lag in game I gave up on that..
however a few months ago I set it up so I can easily record gameplay clips through the replay Buffer, like it works on an Xbox.
Im running an AMD Ryzen 3700X, 16GB of 3200 mHz RAM, an fast PCIE 4 SSD in a appropriate Motherboard and a PowerColor Red Devil 5700XT, on lates W10 garbage, playing on 1440p @144hz.
It used to be set up as 720p60 mp4 clips, with indistinguishable Quality and large fs, for 60 seconds. (Not sure about encoder anymore) and it worked just fine! But then 1 or 2 months ago it started producing only laggy Clips, Audio was fine but maybe 30 frames over the full 60 second video. I didnt really wanna mess with it and changed the duration to 30 seconds, which fixed it back then. But it started to bug again and maybe every 10 clips there was 1 or 2 laggy, "fine".
However it got to the point where it wouldnt produce watchabel footage at all anymore, lags only. I went through the settings again and changed things back and forth but just cant seem to get it working anymore, like not at all. Even recording doesnt work and is only laggy (which I never tried before, just now to see if that would work).
Is there a Guide on how to set that up properly? I didnt find anything for that on Google and not with the forum search. This here doesnt seem to help for me, as the clips are still laggy: https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...lity-recording-and-multiple-audio-tracks.221/ :(
The OS is fine, latest W10 Pro (its 3 Weeks oll fresh install).
I am just now seeing people post log files as well, which I didnt.. but I hope with the right Settings
it might just work, or I'll post log files of that if it doesnt.
Thank you!
