Question / Help Repeating Audio

Hey all, I have a weird problem going on when I stream.

The audio always overlaps for some reason, if the stream goes quiet it'll repeat the same sound/audio that played on stream minutes ago, for example if I say hello and kept quiet , the stream will go on to say hello in intervals until the sound fades. Any ideas?

Do you have your dashboard open and your desktop audio unmuted? If so what's happening is that your dashboard audio which is behind your actual audio is being played back into the stream. Two options, mute your dashboard, mute your desktop :-)

Are you referring to the Dashboard in your software? I am trying to use OBS to stream live a podcast on Facebook. The podcast is recorded using google hangouts, so my earphones are hearing everything repeat several times. Muting OBS doesn't work, Facebook live has no audio. Any suggestions?

This is similar to the issue I posted too. I noticed that it's happening as well when I'm quiet.

Yeah, me too. I've muted everything before I go live and messed around with all audio but still get the repeats both in my headset and on the facebook live video

Ok, just figured out that if I exit out of my facebook page after the broadcast goes live. Everything sounds perfect.
