Question / Help Renderlag on dual PC setup

Hi,
I have used a NDI based dual PC setup for my stream since about 1.5 yrs. I've had no problems until a while ago when i started getting a lot of BSOD. So I checked my RAMs on the streaming PC the other week and one of them had hardware failure, and has now been removed. The thing is that I have also recently about 2 weeks ago started getting renderlag after updating to NDI Tools 3.5 from the old OBS Studio plugin version. I even get renderlag on some of my scenes (even without preview) with background videos when I'm not streaming/recording which I've never had before. THe webcam caused the renderlag as well at one time, which has never happened before.
I've read that renderlag means the GPU aren't keeping up, but does OBS Studio really need that much GPU power itself? Might 12 GB of RAM instead of 16 produce this problem?

Setup
i7-3770K 3.5GHz
Geforce GT 610
SSD for scene sources.
12 GB of RAM 1600MHz DDR3

kind regards, OcTaGoN
