Question / Help Remuxing mvk to mp4 causes audio loss

I remux in obs and the files audio is lowered alot.
I record with 2 audio files. one for gameplay and one for mic.
The mic usually stays fine but the gameplay audio is extremely low or no existent.
Its fine when i listen to it in the mvk file but as soon as i remux it problems occur.
Any idea?

Are you playing both files back in the same player? Because remuxing basically doesn't change any file contents-- it just puts the same streams in a different wrapper. If you have different file mappings for .mkv and .mp4 it's possible you're using different players with different settings for audio, or the default track that is being played is different.

You could also try remuxing yourself in MKVToolnix or FFmpeg and see if the results are different.
