Hi all,
I've only seen this posted a couple times on these forums, and those threads seem dead, so I thought I would post again with some detail of my own.
I have version 22.0.2 of OBS Studio x64 to record gameplay footage in CBR via the MKV file format. Playing that file back in Premiere Pro works fine, no desyncs - but if I remux (or record directly) to MP4, the file will be read as variable in both MediaInfo and Premiere Pro with a small portion of the video recording missing at the end of the playback and audio out of sync throughout the recording.
NOTE: Sometimes, the remuxed MP4 file will play fine, no desync, but a majority of the time it will have the problems stated above.
I have read up that this is a possible bug with FFmpeg but was wanting to see if anyone here has found a stable workaround?
Thanks for reading,
Dylan
