Question / Help remove preview window/pane ?

I am using OBS studio for the first time, and I have created a simple screen cast video already, and that went smoothly.
Now trying to create my second one, and I got to a screen that has a Preview panel on the left and a Program panel on the right.
I hit the 'transition' button that seemed to populate the 'program' window, and now recording is controlled by that window's parameters.
But now how do I remove the space-hog on the left that is the Preview window? I think I don't need it, as it takes up some screen real estate... but I cannot figure out how to remove it...

Can anyone help me to get out of this mode and get back on to make this work properly. Everything that was at the bottom is now gone and can't seem to bring back the things that where at the bottom. I tried to put a screen shot of my problem. but the file was to big and was not able to size it down. before anyone says click Studio mode. It is nowhere to be found. I have a Mac.

View menu > Docks > Reset UI

Then click the Studio button if necessary to deactivate studio mode.

If that doesn't work, delete this folder: (you will lose scenes/profiles)

~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio
