Hello:
In order to keep myself sane; I have done something that I want to make sure is not a bad practice and get some additional advice for how to prefect my set up. I have separated all audio and video sources. Even naming them A: Microphe V: Screen3 or similar. That way in the sources area; I can very easily find and adjust sources and work with them. Even if a video and audio source are from the same device (for example HDMI a/v capture); I split them up to control them separately.
So, first question, is there a problem with doing this?
Second, it appears that any source, including the video ones, have a meter under the audio mixer panel. Many of them are not really audio sources or even have an audio part. How can I remove these or hide them from the Audio Mixer? Does that make sense? I only want the Audio (A: Mic) devices to show up on the Audio Mixer Panel.
Thanks,
T
