Question / Help Regarding the update...

First off, Thank you for a great FREE program that works pretty damn awesome! Us mac people do not have a lot of options when it comes to streaming programs, so this one is important to us. I know that windows users are getting the most out of the new update, but I hope to see some issues resolved for us as well. We would love to have the chroma key working for video captures as well.
Also, random question...I'm streaming to twitch, using the twitch alert box (green screen box), with browser capture to auto animate notifications on stream...after I link up those in OBS, can I close the green alert box all together? or does it have to remain open? I noticed it still works minimized, but the issue I have is when the alert goes off it plays the sound twice, once from the green screen alert box, and then it plays again once it shows up in OBS. Sometimes the sound clip overlaps, sometimes, it is 5 seconds apart.

Version 0.7.2 has not been released yet for Mac due to the build server being down. We're working on getting it back up.

One thing you have to understand is that by and large, all versions of OBS Multiplatform will be updated with a lot of the same features at the same time. There wasn't a public version of OBS Multiplatform for Windows, so a lot of work was done to fix that over the last month or two. Now that all versions are available, features that will improve every version can be added simultaneously.

Things like chroma key are things we know need to be added, and it will be worked on. Don't worry, the Mac version hasn't been forgotten, it's just that we had to do some catch-up to get the Windows release caught up to Mac and lInux, more or less, as well as getting some Windows-specific features that Windows users have been needing for years that haven't been possible in the original OBS.
