For reference, I am on Windows 10, using OBS Studio, running it as administrator. Please let me know if you need more info about my setup.
Hi! Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere; I searched the forums and couldn't find anything quite like the problem(?) I'm having.
The goal is to have an animated lower third graphic (essentially an alert) pop up and animate on a key press. I've added the animated graphic (a .AVI) as a media source in OBS Studio, and it works fine. I've also set up hotkeys to show or hide the source, and those work as well. The problem is that the media source isn't actually replaying when I 'show' the source, and it's not hiding itself once the playback finishes.
Here's the way I have the media source set up to behave:
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the way I interpret those settings are:
All that being said, is there a way to actually get an alert to pop up and animate by pressing a key?
Thanks in advance!

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the way I interpret those settings are:
- The source video will not loop.
- The source video will start playing when the source is turned on.
- The source will hide itself once the playback is over.
All that being said, is there a way to actually get an alert to pop up and animate by pressing a key?
Thanks in advance!
