Refresh interval option for various sources.

Not sure if it is planned, but I think the ability to refresh sources based on a user defined interval of time would be a nice feature.

example:
For instance if you set an image as a source, you could set it to update every 3 seconds. This would be useful if the image in question changes content.

A real world example would be album artwork that is currently playing. You could have an image file that changes depending on song being played. The way it works currently, it would never change as a source in OBS, even though the image content changed. If you added an option to update on an interval, it could correctly display the current songs album artwork because it would refresh in OBS periodically based on the interval..

What I am describing is currently kind of how txt files work. Currently, if you select a text file as a source it updates if the txt file changes. I am suggesting a similar feature be implemented for other sources like images.

I know text is read from the file directly and not exactly what I am asking for, but it is close enough to get the point across.

Anyway, just a suggestion I thought would be useful. Thanks for OBS and the work you people do.

Having images automatically update if changed is planned, yea. The text source should already have that functionality if you read from file. Apologies about that though.

Thanks Jim. I was aware that text worked that way, but glad to hear images will in the future. Great program, great work you are doing.
