Question / Help Recordings in fortnite, video is frozen but audio is working fine

OBS is working on any games in my laptop perfectly fine. so i tried to start recording fortnite games but i have the problem, where it freezes but the audio is working fine. My game is definitely not lagging. been searching for solutions but nothing is working for me. Here is my log file https://hastebin.com/efuhekemep

Suggest lowering your base resolution from 1080p to 720p rather than using 1080p and then scaling.

@Narcogen sorry ive only checked on this just now. and do you mind me asking where can i find the base resolution setting? do you mean the resolution in game settings or in the obs? thank u so much

@Harold Hi! Thank you. Yes i've tried saving my recording output in flv and it didn't work so i tried with mp4, but still, neither is working for me so :(

If you have luck you can use NVENC if not try quicksync thats used by your HD4000. Both will take a huge load from your CPU. After that it should be much better.
