Question / Help Recordings Coming Out Choppy

Hi,

I am somewhat familiar with OBS and I'm and trying to record Minecraft videos to upload to YouTube. But whenever I play my videos back after I'm done recording, they are very choppy video quality. The audio is fine but its just the video skips frames and you can barely see anything. I just want to know what I should change my settings to so I can fix the issue. I am also on a laptop with Windows 10.

Very common problem. The CPU cannot keep up with encoding your video.

Most 2nd Generation and above Intel CPUs have Intel Quick Sync, which is a video encoder that is on the die of your iGPU. All the encoding is offloaded onto that dedicated encoder, reducing the strain on your CPU. That will make your videos less choppy.

Thank you, fixed a lot of the lag problems, but its still a bit choppy, anyway to fix that, if not its much better than before.
