Question / Help Recordings are jumpy and pixelated

Hi everyone,

I recently posted my problem about recording Witcher 3 but got no response. I assumed that maybe I didn't post the log file properly so I decided to try it this way:

https://gist.github.com/fec1512d56c1bcc96d87512ff2f2b8b8

I just changed it to 720p output but I'd rather try and capture in 1080p if I could. I'm pretty sure my rig could handle it so I don't know why the recorded footage is choppy and pixelated.

Threads can be missed sometimes.
Unfortunately the logfile you uploaded does not contain any recording/streaming attempt output...
Can you do a few minutes' worth of recording/streaming (Doing what you would normally do in-game) then stop the recording/streaming session, then upload a current logfile please so I or someone else can further assist in troubleshooting:

However, from your uploaded logfile:
06:43:40.905: - scene 'Scene':
06:43:40.905: - source: 'Game Capture' (game_capture)
06:43:40.905: - source: 'Display Capture' (monitor_capture)
06:43:40.905: - source: 'Elgato' (dshow_input)

Monitor capture will conflict with other capture modes due to it essentially being in a state of 'on standby', similar to preview mode with game capture. You should create a new scene for Monitor Capture by itself.

You also have Windows Game DVR enabled in your Windows OS Settings, that is similar to Monitor Capture and if you don't use it, it is sitting there reserving and wasting resources every time you play a game.
