Hi all,
I've been using OBS for nearly a year now and I've had no problems, I've used it for starting up a YouTube gaming channel. However, I tried to do some gameplay videos for a new release - Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and the videos I get from recording are really choppy, as in not even 1 frame per second. When I play, the gameplay is 100% fine on my screen. But when I stop recording and get the final video - it's a mess.
I've tried recording in windowed, fullscreen and windowed fullscreen to have no change. Changing graphics quality from very high to high did almost nothing.
Just so any of you have the info needed to help:
GPU: GeForce GTX 970.
RAM: 16 GB
Hard-drive space: More than 50 gigs.
OS: Windows 10
OBS output settings include:
Video bitrate: 8196
Encoder: x264
Encoder preset: ultrafast
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
