I am going to try to explain this right.

So when you are recording, especially just with the screen, how do you get the layout of the obs recording "dsiplay" to go away so that you can work with things on your computer screen without the obs "display" still being up?

Anyone getting what I'm saying?

I'm not sure but, can't you just minimize OBS's window?
