Hey,
I just bought a new CPU/Motherboard/RAM for my computer so I decided to start recording my games on PUBG. BUT huge problem I noticed that even thought my game is running around 120 fps+ the record on OBS is just AWFUL let me explain. The game is not laggy at all i got my 120fps+, but the record is so laggy, I noticed that when I was recording on OBS the FPS swayed around 30-60 and the resultat was painful to watch. I then tried with Fraps where the result was perfect I was at 60 fps all along on the video I captured. So I came to the conclusion that it came from the encoding, I tried with many different settings on OBS with encoding, changed rate captured... but it never goes well except when I capped the framerate on my game at 60 (Settings on OBS is at a 60 too) the result was good. The thing is I don't want to play at 60 FPS just to have the possibility to record at the same time.
Here are my specs :
- i7 8700k
- Radeon RX580 8GB
- Asus Strix Z370-E
- 16 GB Corsair Vengeance
Is there any way to play with my 120fps+ and still be able to record at 60 fps without fps swaying on the video ?
Thanks for reading :)
PS : Sorry if I made some mistakes I'm not a native english speaker.
PS 2 : I tried both on live and replay on PUBG and it was the same.
