Question / Help Recording with multiple audio tracks

So I'm running a few tests on OBS Studio again before I start up streaming. In my testing I've discovered that when solely recording, OBS will create multiple audio tracks in the file but the video files of FLV, MP4, and MOV, won't record the multiple files. So I just get my mic with no sound from the desktop. Yet I had music running through the desktop. Is this a standard problem with OBS, the files, or is there a solution?

Did you enable more tracks in the Recording settings in the Output tab? I believe every file type except FLV supports multiple audio tracks.

For streaming I have everything set to track 1. For recording I have my mic on track 2 and desktop on track 3. In the recording tab, I have track 2 and 3 selected. But when recording OBS only recorded track 2. It created track 3 in the file, but didn't record anything onto it.

"Solved"

So OBS, in the audio tab, if the "Desktop Audio Device" drop down isn't set to "Default" it doesn't record the desktop audio in the extra track.
