Question / Help recording with 2 audio tracks does not work

Hi,
i want to record games with my obs studio. To edit my voice, i want to record it
separately from my desktop sound.
To do that I placed my desktop sound on track one and my microphone sound on track two.
The problem is that only one works. I only hear the sound from my microphone or from the desktop. It works, if i put both on the same track.
I just have no idea what I did wrong.
Through the settings that i attached to this report, i can only hear the sound from my microphone.

Thank you for helping me.
Best regards
Lukas

Use VLC as your media player and check the individual tracks in that.
And don't expect both tracks to play at the same time.

Thank you for your fast answer!
So i downloaded the vlc media player an i can select track one (desktopsound) and track two (microphonesound). Is there an opportunity to export the soundtracks?
You said that it is not good to save the videos to mp4. Which options would be better?

For multi-track audio, MKV and nothing else.

Exporting the audio tracks to separate files is done externally to OBS.

Okay. The only problem that I still have is that i don`t know how i can work with it. My Video software (Magix Video delux plus) only finds one audio track. Do you know how i can extract the audio files from the file?
Again thank you verry much.
