Recording window of firefox with audio gives robotic audio

Hi,
sorry for this somehow "creative" <cough> title of this post - I am no native speaker.
My setup is as follows:
GENTOO-Linux, obs-studio 25.0.8 installed via package manager "emerge"
video: graphics card GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
video driver: nvidia-driver-455.45.01
audio: output via external DAC FIIO Olympus2 (USB)
audio: input none
I am not using (and will not using) jackd or pulseaudio
Screen resolution 1920x1200
CPU Ryzen 5 3600
RAM 32 GBytes

What I want to do is:
Optimal:
Recording a video with audio playing in Firefox from the window in a way that I can work elsewhere (other desktop) in the meanwhile.
Acceptable:
Recording a video with audio playing in Firefox from the window in a way that I am urged to stay on that desktop and stop working while recording.

What I have achieved so far:
Only the video part of the acceptable solution with an audio signal which gives me a distorted and intermitted sinus sound.

To this posting I have attached the audio settings dialogs as snapshots and the output of ob to the console a log file.

How can I achieve a clean audio recording and a recording of a certain (then fixed) window instead of the current valid desktop/screen?

Cheers!
mcc
