Question / Help Recording will not stop. How do I fix?

hi I have been using OBS for over 4 months now and if I go and do a video and try to stop it, it will say that its stopping the recording but doesn't stop it I have never had it happen before so I uninstalled and reinstalled and it didn't do anything just I knew it wasn't my CPU because I can't change that it's a MAC PRO 2008 what has windows 10 pro 64 bit and has a GPU what is a GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB and if it's the CPU then I can't do anything about that unless I get a new computer and I think it's because of the latest windows 10 update so if you could help thank you I just don't know how it's done that
