Question / Help Recording Visual Studio - Menus not visible?

When I am recording in Visual Studio, I have the issue of the menus not being visible. At first I thought maybe this was because Aero was being disabled, but I unchecked that option and I still have the issue. Below is an image showing the highlighted area that does not appear when recording in OBS that I would like to appear.

Thanks so much for anyone who may know of a fix!

Edit: Just as a note I tried recording my whole monitor, and I tried recording the individual window and have this problem with both options.

Interesting - if I Window Capture Visual Studio I see the same problem, it works with Display Capture though

I removed and re-added the display source for the monitor and it looks like it's working now. Tyvm

I know this is a super old topic (last reply was in Jun 2017) but I had this same issue as this with a different fix.

For anyone else to have this problem on Windows 7: Desktop Composition (and possibly Aero) also has to be enabled for OBS to capture tooltips inside Visual Studio.
