Question / Help Recording video play with Skype audio

Hey guys, I've been recording myself for YouTube for awhile with no issues. Now I want to try something else and that's a co-player recording between myself and a friend.
Today we hooked up on Skype and I set up a new capture on OBS Studio, got hooked up on Skype and started conversing/recording.
My end sounds fine in the final recording; his audio is fine over Skype but in the recording he is very much muted and almost impossible to hear.

I went in to filters and maxed out the gain. His audio at that point, for the recording, is pretty good but my audio is speaker blowing loud.

So, need some help on how to dial in my settings and where to do this at to get him dialed in louder but without affecting mine so much. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Turn up the gain to max in Skype and make sure it (Skype) isn't messing with levels on either end of the conversation. It will adjust mic levels automatically if you don't stop it, and that can ruin your odds of getting a decent recording.
