Question / Help Recording very stuttery

Hi all,

I'm having problems when I play back the recording made by OBS. The recording has a large amount of stuttering.

I'm running Windows 10 64bit, i5-4590, 8GB Ram, GTX970.

I have attached a log file.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Have you eliminated the player as the reason for the stuttering? I.e. does it do the same thing in every player?

22:30:11.298: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 24 (0.6%)

My rule of thumb is that under 1% looks pretty smooth, and this is well under 1%. Maybe you're particularly sensitive to the 24 lagged frames out of 4152? Or maybe its something else. Anyways to get that 0.6% closer to zero, change the preset to High Performance instead of High Quality.

Hi mate,

Thank you, I will try that! Yes I have tried watching the file on multiple media players and it has the same result.

I'll give it a go and re-post with new log.
