Recording To MP4

No. What warning do you expect? OBS cannot know if something has gone wrong. The issue with mp4 is not finalizing the recording due to some kind of abort, crash or machine reboot. In this case, there is no OBS any more that can report anything, because something that has crashed is, well, not there any more.
